A bit of a controversial subject at the moment - and likely a few of us will disagree ...:D but I think we can have an argument without getting all personal and upset (mostly :D).

Here goes....tin foil hats at the ready !

It was Trump what won it and the Dems are trying to thieve it ...!!

The Big Man should stay put and get the Supreme Court to rule that a new election be called and that ALL votes have to pass audit before they are accepted.

    It might come to that.

It was summed up when he said that he was winning until they started counting the votes.... ;)

However it happened Biden being POTUS won't be good for the UK, Democrats don't like us leaving the EU, just think back to what Obama said about us being at the back of the queue for a Trade Deal.

On the upside China has a lot of spare trade, and is being spied on by China any worse than being spied on by Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft and the 5-Eyes?

We shall see, but equally do not believe the media - the same media that has waged a 4 year hate campaign against Trump - not exactly impartial are they.

There is a very interesting option that could arise. If the legal challenges to the legitimacy of the vote counts reduces both candidates' Electoral College tally to less than the required 270, that is if neither Trump nor Biden have the required 270, then the result would be determined by a "contingent election".

A "contingent election" would mean that the President would be chosen by The House of Representatives from among the top electoral vote winners (Biden and Trump).

Each of the 50 State delegations would cast one vote on behalf of all of their representatives, for either Biden or Trump. This would settle the election result. Since these representatives are elected to their positions this Constitutional option would have more legitimacy than trying to untangle a mess of corrupted and fraudulent postal votes and questionable computer vote tallies.

This method is written into the US Constitution - Thomas Jefferson was elected in this way.

The United States of America is not a democracy, but rather a Constitutional Republic.

I haven’t got a clue what’s right and what’s wrong in the US election.

One thing I do know is that postal voting gives rise to electoral fraud, it’s been in the increase in the UK, and it’s being largely swept under the carpet for various reasons.

I am sure that there is fraud on both sides of the count in the US, it’s just how much and where, is the biggest unknown.

This is exactly what I've been saying, there's going to be fraud somewhere and on both sides. You can't give out 300 million votes and not expect a bit of corruption somewhere. Doubt its been enough to skew the result though.

This is one argument that is going on, that I do not see being generally reported:

I am no expert on this but from my understanding the Trump campaign does not need to prove who the irregular votes went to - the argument could be about the legitimacy of the process, not about who benefited from any such unscrupulous votes.

In this way if it could be proved that there were some dead people voting, signatures on mail-in ballots not being checked, certified attendees not being given access to the counting, that parallel and separate standards were in force for voting in person to those applied to postal votes, errors with the counting machines inexplicably making errors with the totals - it does not matter who benefited from that only that it is sufficient grounds for the result to be in question and therefore unreliable.

In short they have to prove that the vote counting process was not constitutionally legitimate, due to the many procedural irregularities, and that the results for that state should not be included in the Electoral College total. It would not matter who the dodgy votes went to, it is the process that is on trial.

Interesting that the "contingent election" was included as a safeguard in the Constitution so if a mobster, or criminal organization took over a large city and rigged the vote for themselves - using violence and corruption - that vote could be discounted as unreliable.

Who knows what will happen - Biden or Trump, that is not really the issue here - but the voting and electoral legitimacy must be defended. Otherwise all control is lost - it might benefit your side this time - but in the process all control will be gone and there will be no mechanism by which the electorate could stop the much worse things that would later come.
