Yeah happy mate, not ridden it yet as I took it up in van cos it was raining.

But as said put it on an other dyno and might get different figures

Yep, I don't give much credit to dyno's when it comes to comparing a few bhp, but your power curve (Torque) looks really good.

After a few ride's on the bike I was concerned about the sooty exhaust, suggesting it was running too rich at some point in the rpm range. So I took Arthur's advice and popped over to see Andy at DynoTech to see if he could find out where it was running rich.

To cut a long story short, Andy wasn't happy at all with the fuelling, so made me another map, starting from a Zero Map. Andy checked the fuelling via the O2 Sensor boss on the exhaust down pipe. He believes that with the "RaceFit being such a large bore exhaust, fresh air had been getting drawn back into the exhaust and given a false AFR reading to the sensor at both low and mid range rpm when it was mapped at Agusta Hampshire, hence running rich at some points and weak at others. Measuring the AFR from the 02 Sensor boss, ensured the AFR was accurately measured.

The end result was a better and flatter Torque Curve with a max of 80lbs torque and an increase in bhp to just over 170bhp.

I did say Repsols are like a good wine and get better with age.......LOL (That was for Steve).

Good news on them sorting the fueling! Dynotech aren't far from me so will use them to get mine done

I'd DEFINITELY recommend them, they just know CBR's like the back of their hands.

Nothing against MV Augusta, but DynoTech are the blade experts and I was VERY impressed with all the checks they made even before starting the bike. You also get to view the mapping through their viewing window into the dyno cell, so you can see everything they're doing, watch the AFR indicator, RPM, Power etc etc. First Class set up.

I should have taken Arthur's advice and gone their first, but I never listen..... LOL.

Totally happy with it now though.

Just watch the little country road you have to go up to get to them, very narrow, unexpected sharp curves and just been re-surfaced, so loose gravel everywhere.

Have been there before years ago, but thanks for the warning on the loose gravel

To be honest, NO........... But it's just reassuring to know its running a spot on AFR through the whole rpm range and under load and I've gained a power increase over stock.

And that run was (according to the sheets) 12 degrees hotter than your first one, get it run again in January and you'd probably see 175bhp, lol!

I'm assuming these figures are at the engine rather than at the wheel?

No...... that figure is at the wheel.

Average loss through transmission is normally 12%

Blimey! That's pretty good considering most things i see seem to suggest standard S1000RR's are pushing out around 180-185 at the rear wheel!

    Nice one :)

I must admit, I get abit stumped with all the big hp's the new bikes have suppose to have, my old girl has 162 at the back wheel, I can put my hand on my heart and say Ive never come accross a bike that has pulled away from mine, is it that tuners dynos differ ? or just how we use the power we have got ?

You also have a 44 tooth rear! It's not the bhp that makes the difference in acceleration, its the torque (and in your case the bigger rear sprocket).

    Nice power and AFR.

I don't take much notice of the odd bhp difference between dyno's. I'm more interested in the power and torque curve and that the AFR is spot on all the way through the rpm range and under load.

My 170bhp is on a nearly new 2015 bike, and my previous 2011 bike with exactly the same set up put out 162. The later (2014/2015) bikes are supposed to have a few more bhp.
