I have the pleasure of a non-existant wrist joint thanks to an impact in 2011 whilst planting myself through a Peugeot 306.
(30% liability given up because Im a motorcyclist - which doesnt matter if a car pulls out in front of you ignoring any highway code or road traffic law)
Whilst Im still riding and loving it, my wrist struggles with the play in my throttle.
My brain is saying power on but because of the lack of movement to my wrist I experience a delay in throttle response as the 'slack' seems to be too much.
Is a quick action throttle the way forward or is it simple to adjust the play in the throttle action to get over this problem?
Thanks. (& sorry about the rant!)

Quick action throttle sounds about right for you mate.

Feck me that looked like it hurt. No offence to ladies on here but can I see in the picture who the likely candidates are?

I think Honda advise around 5mm of play in the throttle cable, but I keep it to a zero, are a least a minumum; you just need to make sure that the throttle returns quickly when snapped open at full lock (left & right).

The HRC throttle tube is an excellent comfort mod, changing the throttle from a 1/4 turn to a 1/6 turn. You can buy just the tube from Honda dealers for around £25.00 & its a straight swap; you will just have to take the adjustment out at the throttle body end of the cable.
