Tyre compatibility question

    Ok usual problem need a rear but fronts ok, can I run a front pirrelli Diablo 3 and a rear rosso Corsa?

    To be honest Martin I would change both because it's harder to see how much the front is squared off too, especially considering you've forked out on new suspension you don't want to spoil it with squared off tyres, I don't like mixing tyres personally even within brands

    I have done this myself Martin and the bike was fine. My Diablo 3 was virtually new, the fronts don't seem to square off like the rears. I got the chance of a Rosso Corsa cheap, fitted it and bike rode great, partly because the old rear was knackered but they seemed to match no problem.

    I know what your saying but if I replace both I can't afford to put fuel in it lol

    Tyre Leader appears to be the cheapest at the moment, think it was £121 for the 50 series and £130 for the 55 series.

    Bikespeed.co.uk are where I got my DRC's from think I've also got an email voucher for them too

    What's the difference with the rosso Corsa and the rosso II

    the Corsa has a little more grip but less life, I have been using Rosso 2 on track last year, no problem knee down and reasonable mileage
    Rosso 2 better in wet too ;)

    yes its a watery kind of liquid substance ;) seen most days on uk roads :D some call if rain, some call it F***ing raining again, Sh*t ;)

    Rosso 2 better in that stuff than Corsa :)
