    Hi all,

Been riding for years and just moved back up to a litre bike again, should never have gone back down to a 600! Had an SV996 V twin, and it was just an awesome sounding bike but i missed an inline so i went for a nice 600RR, hmm... Lovely bike really gets you back in the fore with the superior handling, but it was the screening engine that did it!

I was at a Fireblade photo shoot in Bruntingthorpe last year an met some great blade owners, then more recently i jumped on a Fireblade for a day an yep... I was sold! So about 4 weeks ago i took hold of a mint 2010 black beauty with the gold wheels, an she is luuurvely, straight from the original owner with only 2k on the dials! Rides like the new one i test drove. Just feels complete, very comfortable and boy does it inspire. Anyhow thought i would back this up with a good forum, the last bike i had for 5 years and had an awesome forum with a wealth of knowledge from great members/owners. Now it would be nice if the heatwave would come back, just not as hot.

    Torch'd.

Welcome mate and let me let you into a little secret... You have indeed stumbled across the most powerful of the blade colours so excellent choice :D

Ignore the Repsol mongrels and albino HRC's they will state all kinds of nonsense to make up for their inadequacies.... ;)

Totally agree with you about the 600RR,it is a bit of a screamer when you're pushing it,so glad I upgraded to a blade this year:D

You too huh, i had a bit of a ride back the day i bought the Blade and well... This may sound stupid but, felt like i really gel'd with it, that just didn't happen with the little 600RR, it's a great bike and a must if you are upgrading from a 400 or commuter to your first proper sports bike, that front end is so confidence inspiring on the 600, i just could not help think, could the Fireblade be better...

    ....yep!!

Plus the gas tank lasts longer.... Bonus!

Explorer... Always good to meet a fellow explorer, anywhere nice? I toured the USA for 4 months on my SV996 S, 8500 miles! The other half is a HRC owner!
browndog.. Now thats hitting the nail on the head.... "Pure bad ass" like it!

I was browsing yesterday in the gallery, and there was some pretty awesome pictures....
