Time for a full service and valve clearence check on old girl so I've borrowed a duke 790 from work and ill do a bit each evening till shes done . If I have to order shims ect then its no worries.
I know what you mean sir but with a 6 day a week job Mrs 5 day a week job and shes doing a masters and 3 kids and a house still part renovated I have got used to splitting jobs down. I always write a list on my white board and tick off as i go along.
It's a good trait being able to walk away from a job. I've made a hash of things in the past because I've been too pig headed to walk away and sleep on it. Very jealous of your workshop!
@CharlieR85 I know I've a nice set up in very lucky. Need bloody heat out their now weathers turned. When extension goes on ill fit radiators but ill get a gas heater for this winter I think. Bit more progress tonight .
That's atrocious! I know you're an 'all weather' rider though. Did you have a rad guard on the bike, or is that just 1 summer's accumulation of road muck?
No it's got a guard on it and belive it or not bike is washed each week . Sometimes twice a week . I painted it last year and cleaned it all out so ill see if I can save it again .
I do feel quiet guilty about the state of parts of her but on the whole when clean she looks lovely. Ok honestly her wheels are a chipped mess and fairing stonechipped. She's a 5 pint face on a sober body in reality.
You may be right. Even a dodgy Chinese rad would be better than current one. If it lasted a year its better than nothing.
