I would like to fit a volt meter to my 929 / I would like to fit it to the ignition but I’m not to good with wireing. ( witch colour wires to splice into on the back of the ignition Or even if it to somewhere else if easier? Any help or info would be appreciated meany thanks Tony. And I’ve bought some indicator mirrors would I just splice them in to the indicators
When test the charging I go to the battery terminals so I suppose you can wire it to them.,,,,,,,, But then it would be permanently on doh
Piece of piss, just wire it directly to the battery via a relay. You'll just need a switched live to operate the relay. Did the same mod on my VFR. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-Auto...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
Thank you. ! Thanks for the reply. And was I right in thinking I can splice into my indicators for my mirrors?
I have the similar set up, my voltmeter runs directly off the battery (so always on) but I do have a relay too that runs off the rear number plate
I think that I ran mine to the battery through a relay tied to the headlight on my 929. Very useful to know when the stator had burned out again.
