Brilliant, I'll keep checking for the next one - I'm guessing it won't be till round spring time now though.
I think it was ken that added pedro into the group. Already looking forward to the next forum meet even though it wont be for a few months yet
Not biased at all! What do you think of the difference from the two from your point of view? I used to have a zx6r as my track bike but did struggle after only riding v-twins/Ducati's. A friend recommended a Fireblade as I would be able to ride it in a similar way, use the torque/power to pull me out of corners meaning I could go into corners in a higher gear like when i'm on Ducati.
Haha, go on?! In my defence it was fu*king freezing that day and it was my work fleece so wasn't trying for fashion points!
Loved the duc for its looks , cult status , noise , handling , ability to turn heads etc , But the riding position killed my wrists and back !! (I`m 6`1" ) When on rideouts it got to the stage where I was always lagging behind cos I had to stop to let my wrists calm down . Was sad to see it go . However as soon as I sat on the blade in the dealers Iknew right away this would be the one for me !! . It is so user friendly and is perfect for my height too. I find i`m much more confident going into corners with it too oh and by the way I also had a zx6r years ago too lol
it was just something that was bought to my attention when i recently stuck a fleece up for sale ......see this thread. http://1000rr.co.uk/lounge/6947.htm
