I am now the proud new owner of a gsxr 750 track bike... planning to spend the rest of the summer doing as many trackdays as my bank balance will allow!!!

Unfortunately I won't be able to book any trackdays until end of june (and its gonna kill me waiting) but I assure you all that July and August will be a very busy time for Mr Tyke.
11th june may be a possibility depending on if I can get the bike there, don't have a van/trailer or car license for that matter so would need a buddy to also be going from york
Yes but could never properly abuse it round a track like you could a track bike and they look so damn cool! I might have to do the same thing later this year
Looks good.... if you're anything like I was, you will go 2 or 3 seconds a lap quicker just because its a trackbike!! Whenever I take my road bike on the track there is always 10% - 20% held in reserve as I don't want to bin my pride and joy, whereas with a trackbike, its helmet on and go for it!! If I bin it then I will replace bits via ebay/breakers in my own good time. Nice one.... have a blast!
I agree Martin but surely asking to share a unit would be a better option and how will he get there ????
Not if - WHEN lol, I love the confidence there. That's when you invite a mate with a van to the track day lol
Already miles ahead of ya on that one martin! Yeah well you're better off expecting to crash than going there thinking it will all be fine and dandy!
