been itching to go out for a ride and give the CBR some outdoor excercise.
With the wind & rain storm we've been having, yesterday thee skies suddely cleared, the storm warm wind dried everything in 3 hrs.

Out I went ducking leaves & other fallen debris.
Must say I did not expect to bike to be so stable at M'way ++ speeds. So well planted despite the strong cross wind; in fact cars were bouncing around despite going slower.

another vote for the best road sports bike??

We had similar conditions yesterday. I went out once it dried. Put on the leathers and hit the road!

I rode from Huddersfield to Hampshire on Friday. I had everything from light rain, high winds, driving rain, massive spray, low visibility, the magically dry and quiet country lanes.

Honestly, I thought I was going to be miserable and fed up. But, I had a great time

Made the journey in about 4 hours with a lunch stop and was mega comfy.

    Great bikes.

Unfortunately, I’ve got to make the same journey today but in reverse, the weather is worse, I’m nursing a slight hangover, and slept on a very uncomfortable sofa bed for 2 nights. So not in the best frame of mind for this one!

What a horrible journey Sunday was. I’ve never ever been so wet and cold on a bike.

I was wet after half an hour and just got wetter and colder.

The bike was utterly brilliant though. It just got on with the job and did it flawlessly. What a machine.

yeah sunday felt bitterly cold. low temps colder weather and 100% + humidity are a receipe for distarter.

You need to be carefull going along country lanes in windy conditions where there are trees
