Sadly, we'd get tortured up here for that.

Whilst Cleveland and Durham bike cops are really pro bike, I tend not to drift South. So, tend to ride in Durham, bit of Northumberland and Cumbria. If in North Yorks I tend to stay off the main heavily policed roads, and just never ever visit Humberside....

So, for me to have number plate set up like that would Defoe incur points and fine. North Yorkshire and Humberside don't even go down the vehicle defect notification route... They go direct for fixed penalty ticket...

Totally agree about North Yorks and Humberside police...set of cnuts!
I was recently knocked off my bike near Scarborough the police attended and pretended to be my best friend at the scene of the accident and despite the other party subsequently admitting 100% liability they are still prosecuting me for riding with undue care and attention!

Fitted the exhaust this afternoon and fired the bike up at around 3.45. All i can say is i'm glad i don't live near any fault lines! With the DB killer removed i'd go as far as saying it may be too loud, and for the last 3 years i've been riding wearing sponge type earplugs. Accelerating from low down revs in the lower gears is much smoother and more responsive.

I have MTC cans on my KLV, and they sound fantastic.

The MTC cans seem to be very under rated. They are inexpensive but well manufactured and well engineered. The only reason I didn't get one for the blade is I don't like the look of the ones for the new blade.

The bike is in for it's 1st service, when I get her back I'll do a sound clip and upload it to my Youtube channel. I've changed my avatar picture, the new one shows the can fitted on to the bike.

Wasn't too bad, when the new can is on get it roughly in position, then nip the jubilee clips/clamps and keep on adjusting the position until it's right. Then fully clamp it up.

Sorry for the dumb question if this is obvious for other people, but what are the differences between the HRC tank and OEM besides the looks?

    Cheers

It's not mate. But anyway as far as I know it's size and weight. It's bigger but much lighter. ;)

Nah. Couldn't justify it myself. Wish I could though. If I'm guessing correct I might know who he bought it off tho. Nice bit of kit that. Just wish I had the dinero

Fitted R&G engine covers to the track bike.
Pretty standard, but at least it will save one extra expense if the bike goes down.
