Frequently as I tend to fire the missus' bike up innthe garage when we go out together. So last time was November when I drained the fuel from her tank and then ran it until it had dragged all the remainng fuel from the pipes/carbs.

Hated the things on cars though, so glad when they went automatic.

Ok, I've been told that if the titanium pads need replacing the suit has to go back to Dainese. Although they look like they prise off and re-fit....they actually need pressurising in. That's why they go back to the factory.
    That's gonna be expensive
So unless anyone can tell you different I'd just treat it as battle scars ;)

yeah, so totally mis-sold a suit with replaceable parts that arent.

they emailed me today telling me that even though they are screwed in, the whole thing needs sending off.

Wear the scrapes with pride. My jacket shows the scars of a small off at Blyton a few years ago, always funny to see some of the looks it gets.

As for bike related I bought a 16mm SDS masonry bit so I can fit the wheel chock securely to the garage floor. Using some sleeve/anchor bolts so I can fit it when needed, and then remove and put the rubber mat back down when finished.

yeah, i could always concoct an elaborate story involving me chasing down some hardened armed bank robbers who shot out my tyre before they spun out of control into a telephone box, fortunately I caught them on foot as they tried to escape.

    Justice served - blink style

sleeve anchors - you cant always get the threaded part back out, leaving a knee cracking stud sticking out of the floor

Elaborate stories are great, you can just keep going to see how far you can puh them until people finally realise you are taking the mickey :D

The sleeves I bought take a bolt and don't have a stud, effectively it is a rawl plug so I can remove the bolt and leave the sleeve in the hole until needed again.

i have a scar on the back of my head, the barber asks, and a few people when they see it - my head is shaved now

I just tell them its from the alien abduction implant. I think most people that know me think im being serious

I also have a grey stripe in my beard, and i tell people its where i was struck by lightning.
