What size Bell do you have @nigelrb ?

hang on, that didn't sound right...…..what size helmet have you got Nigel??o_O

Oh gawd, this isn't going well is it!!!

Jokes aside I have just bought a Bell Star MIPS protection Brad Binder Replica in size XL for less than half price!!

Normally £425 I got it for £199, the fact he's just signed for HJC might have something to do with the price drop but its a stunning looking lid and I intend to do the Red Bull treatment on it and add it to my growing collection of Race replicas:)

The reason I ask is I wanted to know what the fit is like in comparison to the HJC Rpha 10 XL I sold you recently?

My x spirit3 is the most superb and streamlined lid I've ever had at high speeds...it's fantastic, can't fault it at all. With regard to @Barstewardsquad 's comment....Di prefers her xlite carbon to her rx7

I would second that but having recently face planting tarmac I can see why Arai have the reputation they do.

Tigger got an hour and a half today in bright blinding sun with unusually high 9°
Roads were really slippery with the back stepping out a couple times more than I wanted. She is going to need a damn good wash with all the salt over her :(

Well the Bell Star Mips Brad Binder rep XL arrived today and its a stunner, unfortunately it doesn't fit my massive noggin :( it's a massive shame and I'm gutted as I've also ordered Red bull decals to do my thing with it:rolleyes:

It matches the SP perfectly not that I'm a matchy matchy person. For anyone who's ordered the new SP in the same colour scheme as mine this is the perfect lid.

It comes with a pin lock insert, dark smoke visor which I paid extra for, plush helmet bag, box etc.

I've got 48 hrs to alert helmet city and raise a return, before I do that I'll offer it to any forum members who are looking for a new lid. Do a bit of research, look at some you tube reviews to help you decide. Other than that im going to reluctantly return it! :(

I paid 199.00 plus 58.00 for the visor. Its gone up now at helmet city to 220.00. Selling elsewhere online for 440.00!!!

Sorry..... Its an XL, all my lids are an XL but this is more like a Large HJC i would say!!!

I have read online that you should size up as they're a snug fit but there wasn't a XXL.

Dang it, I reckon it’ll be too loose mate! @nigelrb will be along in a minute to snap it up; it’ll match his 2020 to a tee

Just got one of these myself but still think Shoei and Arai have the edge. Not tried in anger yet but on these cold mornings the draft is too much, needs a bigger chin curtain.
