Thanks bud. I also stuck a USB socket into a switched wire. So stealthy under the mirror there and out the way of any rain :)

Well the LED bulbs arrived - bad news @LRJimmy is they’re no good with the dual headlight conversion :( but the good news for you @mk3golfcab is they’ll be coming your way :). Send me a PM Liam with your address and I’ll get them posted to you on Monday

Honda won’t, IMO they rely on their past reputation too much, as if they don’t need to compete but in reality I think they do. I’m not slating them, or their bikes, but I don’t think they have the edge anymore

Cheers mate, thats saved me a few quid as I have a set in my basket on eBay. I can safely delete them now :) :) Otherwise they would have been sitting next to my angled tyre valves that I forgot to take with me when I got my new tyres fitted :(:oops:

Had some carbon wrap so thought I'd give it a go 8.5/10

Looks good that but one of @mk3golfcab's chain guards would look better! ;)

Just out of interest.... Have you ever ridden this bike? Those chicken strips are immense ;):D:D:D

So I’ve become the proud owner of an ex race engine,

    decent spec.
    Polished ported head
    Kit valves
    Kit springs
    Billet cams
    Sutter slipper clutch
    New gearbox super finished
It’s been fully rebuilt and refreshed.

Iv noticed that you couldn’t run a pair valve if you wanted to,
I think the nipples under where throttle bodies go are for air bleed.
And the oil cooler says sealed to sump??

maybe I need to use after market oil cooler.
Can’t wait to get it in the bike.

does anyone know anything about air bleed system that helps engine braking?

    Ripped out the averto alarm/immobiliser.

It's been playing up for a while. Every now and then it'd refuse to arm/disarm then mysteriously start working again a couple of minutes later. Yesterday it finaly lost the plot altogether and left me stranded with the bike just sitting there beeping at me. :(
Tried fiddling with the wee magnetic switch, changing it's postiion and the likes...
    ...but no joy.

Thankfully my flatmate has a works van, we both have 'get out the house free' letters for our jobs and it wasn't that far from home..
    Still a p-in-the-a though.

I'll whip the datatool off the zxr and stick it on the blade sometime.
