I got very lucky on eBay, brand new system got it cheap. I reckon it would be a Fanta addition to your 2020! I’ve spent too much money recently but it’s all good fun,

bought a 2018 blade, full alpinestars gp pro suit, Supertech r boots, gp pro gloves, full Akra system then new tyres lol

Removed and refitted the oil pressure switch with fresh sealant.
Something's misting out down there and I was getting a low pressure light over the ton but it wasn't really clear where it was coming from.

Quite hopeful. The threads on it had very little sign of old sealant so...
    Fingers crossed. :)

    Frankenbiked the lowers together.

A rock about the size of a pineapple fell off a quarry truck as I was passing it and made a right old mess.
Limped a couple of miles to where the wee local shop thankfully sold gaffa tape.

Been running with no lowers for a couple of months but with winter here it's nice to get it back on - keep more of the crud off the lump. :)

What I'm doing to my bike today is looking at the cover out the window.
The garden is a quagmire - even the concrete bit is a puddle.

Only geting one day off a week at the moment and the last couple I've been getting a run in but today I'm weary and in need of a piss-up.
Rain's just stopped but I can't be bothered. Exhaust valve needs stripped, front wheel needs checked and the chain is probably rusting up but to hell with it - rotary wire brushing chains is a sunny day job. ;)

So it's beer with a Jura chaser and creeping towards the finish with the Gilera for my pal's 16yo daughter.
Has been a bit of a saga but will be worth it. Italians have a different view of things to the rest of the world. May say moped on the V5 but this little thing should be able to keep up with the traffic. :D

On the plus side - just checked the blade's service interval and it turns out I've still got 4000 miles to the next valve clearance check. Had it in my mind that it was every 12k.
    Happy days. :)

Nothing big but fitted an E-Cushion seat to my 08 Blade.

    thanks very much. Excellent find.:)
Do you happen to know the head diameter.
I have seen this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191802631184; not sure if the 18mm head diameter is too big and not sit properly on the frame (the OEM is 16mm)

i'm not sure why my pics aren't displaying properly on my post but there's a decent gap around the head of the bolt.
I'm currently moving so don't have anything to measure it with.

Had it mapped. 212 atw and 231 atc. Got the slicks fitted ready for Montyblanco in a few weeks. Fitted Diamond fold up levers and remote adjuster plus brake lever guard. Evotech calliper guards. Changed the GB engine covers for R&G ones. They are much nicer imo and if (when) I go down they have replaceable sliders.

just collected my new bike last week, 2019 fireblade sp, love it but getting quadlock to fit was a bit difficult.
have managed to model + 3d print a spacer so the quadlock fork stem mount has something to grip to, that hole was cavernous.

anyone have experience with the bike ? have the quadlock wireless charger so my next task is to get that hooked up and possibly heated grips.

Ramp/lift finally in, few parts starting to turn up so engine case protection, sat nav and tank grips fitted, only chain/sprockets, tyres, bag of titanium nuts n bolts screen and a few carbon bits to go and she’ll be ready for the custom map and suspension set up.

Now at 10,029 miles. Changed the oil and filter, was ready to swap out the air filter but it’s still like new so just blew through with an air duster. Took the rad guard off and gave that a respray, cleaned the rad whilst I was at it. But if air in the tyres and everything else was good levels wise.
Just need the salt to wash away with this rain and then the weather to improve.
