    Binned it :(
Anyone know where I can get L/H fairing and seat cowl in black? Prefer to just swap them out. Might get away with a good repair/touch in on the tank cover as only a minor scratch.
Foot peg, gear lever and bar ends on order. Could use a left clip on if there’s one kicking about? 07 SC57

Ebay is your best bet, you could try aftermarket fairings from China too. Probably get a full set for the price you'll pay for OEM.

Gloss black should be easy to get hold of.

    Thanks Paulo,
trawling ebay everyday but nothing that’s not already damaged :( debating gilles clip ons? do you know the angle on the oem clip ons? 6/7 degrees? found a rh fairing in black and grey but lh had already sold! she’s off the road for the winter now so get the wheels powder coated. Prefer to get oem parts if I can as don’t rate the chinese ones although Rothmans colours are the nuts lol

I just got these for my R1, the Quality is really good and the decals are lacquered over. They're so much better nowadays! 20251028_112350.jpg 20251028_112341.jpg 20251028_112908.jpg 20251028_112911.jpg

That time of year. Might be the last one as am thinking about a new one, not a blade as that won't fit me these days and I can't justify the price. For some daft reason I want a brand new only owned by me bike.

    What you thinking of then???

New bike feeling is great, knowing 100% its not been pissed about with by some idiot and also the warranty helps :D

Thats not to say a used bike isn't a good idea, ive had my fair share of them......but there's always that niggle in the back of your mind!

The CB1000GT would be my choice. Near Fireblade performance, but with more room/comfort and sensibly (relatively speaking) priced. I’m very tempted to chop my Tiger in for one :)

I was considering a Hornet SP, but am leaning towards the newer version of my existing bike. News toys like quickshifter and colour display, and also a bigger tank up to 19l from 17l.

I’d definitely say it’s an upgrade from the Hornet , and not a bad price at all for what you get. I retired from the sports bike riding position just over a year ago, and got something a bit more upright. No regrets, whatever puts a smile on your face.

Do you find much of a difference with the lowered seat? And is it as comfortable as standard?
The throttle spacers are definitely a must do mod.
