Well as its heading towards the big day i was wondering what others get up to working or not. Myself well i have finished work now until 4th Jan thank the lord for that ,Anyhow the day started quite mundane , Breakfast ,watch the news, then i decided to go through the kitchen cupboards to make room for more crap ,Elaine had bought a new plate set so i managed to prize the old ones off her and in the bin they went i then ducked down and started on the food/tin cupboards well most of the stuff was out of date cans of beans/tomatos/packeds of rice /pasta/ oxos/jelly and on it went until i filled the outside large wheely bin so lessen learned there dont bulk buy .thats the boring bit over , A guy who doe's the tipper work phoned and said he would meet me to hand over a couple of bottles so i met him got some Bacardi and some brandy , he had just come from Bury market so i extracted two black puddings off him. I nipped home looked at the weather and said i am going for a quick run on the bike so gear on (to much) and off i went 1 hour later i phoned her to say i was at the Pondarosa cafe in wales and was tucking into a steak and kidney pie and jockeys whips. I decided to take the long way home which is Langollen then head to Whitchurch the roads were dry not much traffic so it was good i then ended up on the A49 and there were a few bikes around so game on picked a few off and then as i went over a roundabout one plucky dude thought he would have a do on this long stright hill so as i caught him in the corner of my eye i wacked it open only to see him hit the brakes which seemed strange as we were only half way up the hill (never to be seen again) going home on my favorate road was awesome just like a summers day and riding about 10% down which this time of the year is unheard of (sorry to you dudes who put yours away in October) Got home give it a massive dose of cold water and Muc off and then blow dryed with Leaf blower and completed with half an hour of small garage heater. Quick glass of pear cider ,on here writing this then shower ready for thev Match tonight which should be good although it is Cockneys mincing about ,so there you have it what about you?

I finished work at 8am this morning - should have gone to bed but stayed up and spent some quality time with my 6 year old son, he's mega excited about Father Christmas turning up with his sack full of goodies (I think the Mrs is quite keen too.............?).

Noticing the weather was particularly good, I took my blade out on the road for the first ever time. Wish I hadn't as some of the roads were still a little damp, got a few splash marks on the hugger etc. Did about 3 miles then went home again and spent the next 2 hours cleaning said bike.

After another spell of entertaining my son and nipping out for fish and chips, I decided the road conditions were now perfect so got the blade out for the second time. I then took a well anticipated trip into Maidstone and stopped off at Hein Gerrick. The place was totally empty so I lost enthusiasm and drove home again.

The blade now has 20 miles on the clock - I enjoyed every one of them. Needless to say I spent the next hour polishing and cleaning again (totally unnecessary but just so enjoyable).

Wife's now home so trying not to talk about my blade (she's getting fed up with my single strand conversation)

Looking forward to Christmas and of course, my next opportunity to ride the blade again.

Up at 6am. Breakfast in bed with Mrs & Jr. V. Triple S, then dropped Mrs V off at the dentist at 8:30am for a stage 1 root canal. Went to the butchers & collected the 10lb 8oz turkey crown, and nipped in to the bakers for a gingerbread man, iced Belgian and a butterscotch tart. Home. Stuck Jr. in from of the telly with some transformers & started work at 9am (working from home today). Mrs walked home from the dentist (only 300 yds) and took sole care of my genetic copy at 10am. Worked through till 12pm. Made lunch & sat & ate it together in the front room. Worked my arse off again through till 5:30pm. Mrs & Jr. V have gone to babysit her friends kids & as her estranged husband in nowhere to been seen, so they'll be staying over - so I have the house to myself. Nipped to Sainsburys, bought a pizza & muchos Peroni...and that's pretty much it. Checking in on here, whilst iTunes upgrades itself to the latest version.

Of course I was on the porn, Mike. Mostly the really sick stuff you sent me.

V, snap! Mrs ken had stage 1 root canal today too. A real shame as the antibiotics'll mean she won't be able to drink over Christmas. So Threshers will be laying off and I won't have to drive. Pain and pleasure principle.

I was going to take the bike to work tomorrow. Weather looks good-ish and it's only until 12:00. I could wazz around afterwards picking up some special Ken treats for the holiday without having to worry about parking etc.

But the boss said he'd pick me up and drop me home after going to the pub so game over.

Well I was at work!! .As the sun was shining and the roads looked dryish out there.I asked my daughter if she would like to run the shop for a couple of hours.Got the new leathers/boots and gloves on got the bike out for a blast.Funny enough Soon Be Dead on here was on the same road looked at the bike and thought thats nice then honked his horn and we pulled over for a natter.Giving me the BE CAREFUL!!! Clocked up 55 miles with the Akro baffle out (awesome sound)it's now on 300 miles.I polished it so much nothing stuck to it,not even water marks. It's back in the warm blanket on/cover on.Come home to a roast dinner, thanks luvvy,Vodka/coke in hand watching the Spurs/Chelsea game.:D

That's the way to do it Sideways.

I'm gonna be coming after you for some Nightbreakers in the new year, if that's alright. It's good to keep the wealth within the family.

yesterday - got in work at midday with a stonking hangover (team xmas dinner and drinks).... sent couple emails, realised i was the only idiot in the office so headed to the pub for some lunch and a couple of pints of sand! (they really did go down that bad) then met my bro, had a drink and headed off to the lane to watch the mighty spurs!

today - working from home. in bed checking emails and pretending to work...whilst surfing net - catching up on here (lost i phone so not been on much) before heading out to sort out some strange list the missus has left me of a weird manner of things that she obvioulsy spends her time doing but sees fit to have me run around doing as i'm off for a change! but of course, i will still find time to go to her work and buy her lunch somewhere nice (her actual words)

bike time today???? doubt it, but its a nice thought!
