Is it one of the old diesel ones or a spanking new nuclear one? I assume the envelopes are wax sealed?

Those that know me know what I do, but I am not allowed to say in a public forum. Anal rules of a large corporate body. It’s nothing glamorous or exciting but it pays quite well. I have worked in the same industry in various functions all my working life which has taken me all over Europe and parts of the Far East. 34 years with only 3 companies and each move on the request of the next one. 15 years with my current employer. Scratched my way up to slippery pole and got almost to the top destroying my 20 year marriage to my school sweet heart along the way, became ill and had to have six months off. On return to work I decided I didn’t need or could handle that much pressure anymore and there is more to life than money. Voluntary stepped back a bit and now in middle management. Pays less but not sure the pressure has reduced very much. Would I give it up tomorrow? Hell yes. Early retirement for me in five years I hope unless I am lucky enough to get a good redundancy package in which case I would go by the end of the month and never look back.

run an Open Source software company specifically dealing with learning management/on-line learning systems. Do a bit of everything, support, development, servers as well as all the usual running a company stuff. Been steadily growing over the last 5 years from something which ran from my living room to offices and staff Keeps me busy, but a good busy!

Estimating manager in a car bodyshop.
Not a bad job, would rather be surrounded by bikes allday than cars though!
