Friend of mine is in the market for a Yamaha MT09, there are plenty of decent secondhand ones out there, but he want's new. I keep reading that with the euro 4 stuff coming in, 2016 bikes will be getting knocked out cheap, when would be the best time to buy or look at buying ? I have seen one company on e bay selling unregistered 2016 models for £6995 approx. £500 off of rrp, do you think the prices will go down further than that with the revamped 2017 model on the horizon ? Also any tips on how to haggle as he'd be wanting, full akraprovic, tail tidy,rad guard, levers, etc etc.. how do you push without pushing the dealer to far thanks
If they want to sell they'll do a deal! End of month is a better time to buy as they want to get their numbers up, end of Jan or maybe Feb might be good if he has the cash as people dont buy many bikes in winter so a dealer sales will probably be low
