Where to mount the transponder

    I was going to put it in the middle of the rear cowl where do you mount yours?

    They advise on the side of the bike with a clear view of the track but if you have an off that side it will get damaged at least on the rear cowl it should be ok .

    I mount mine on the left hand fork leg, just beneath the top yoke. It doesn't foul the steering lock and is pretty well protected in the event of an off.

    We hire ours at hottrax £20 and £20 deposit you get back mine was mounted top fork leg

    Mine cost £335 delivered they do have a very good 2nd hand resale value going on ebay for up to £300 so for the extra £35 worth getting new at least you have a warranty then or like wedgie does rent one but don't think NL offer rental on them.
