Was thinking of strapping my GoPro to my bike for a few clips this spring and summer, I've used a chesty mount to reasonable effect, but what is your experience? Any tips on mounts, locations etc?
For trackdays I mount my Go Pro on top of the steering damper (06 model). It's out of the way when you're tucked in. I also fit it on the end of the tail unit for rear facing footage. I haven't used anything other than the standard mounts they're nice and secure.
On my 13 model i bought a fork stem mount which was quite good for a go pro On my old GSXR i used a bracket which attached in the screw holes for the filler cap on the tank Bought both types from ebay
