Simple question but is there a simple answer? Just watching the Moto 2&3 that I have not seen. know the results but thinking there is a high percentage of Spanish riders in the top flight of Motorbike racing Anyone shed any light why this may be?
Because its there 2nd national sport only to football. To them it's like rugby to us, hence why we are ok at it! Kids from 4 rag super moto, then race 125, get in the super teens, have a go at 125gp and so forth.... There is financial backing and a public awareness that isn't no where near as close as the minority sport that is gp back home. Go to Catalunya and watch a motogp, then it falls into place, it's more buzzing than Wembley if England reached the World Cup final

Well, My ex wife is half Spanish and she rode the shit out of me for 25 years, she hated motorbikes, but, you get my point, when they want to ride something they do it well.
