Not been around on here for a week because I've been on nurse mode. Wife was taking eldest to school. In a 20 limit. The cars park both side of road and its an old narrow street anyway . She stopped to let a couple of cars through knocked it out of gear flicked handbrake on as it was about 5 cars she was letting through turned to the eldest and bang a transit drove straight into them. We have a 16 plate passat it moved it 2 car lengths so transit was not doing 20 mph. He's admitted fault says was talking to mate in van. No broken bones just back and neck all torn up on them both. Car needs number boot light ect.
Had an almost exact same incident to me a few months back. Was all sorted relatively quickly. There's nothing you can do in these situations...I was f****in raving at the van driver that hit us but after a few minutes I calmed down and realised all I was doing was scaring my youngest and making the blokes in the van clam up. Hope your family are OK and not too shaken up.
Ouch hope everyone has a speedy and full recovery. Did the police attend? Hope the van driver was all insured correctly etc.
The guy was really good according to my wife especially when he saw our eldest he could not of apologized more. All insured so that sides ok . Eldest is doing ok it's the wife whos really suffering. Oh and me. I'm missing all this good riding weather cooking cleaning and entertaining the kids. Ffs . Still if I can score another bike project out of the compo alls Rosie. I know I'm a bad man .
