I need to by some taps to power a relay. The feed I have found is 2mm diameter including the sleeve, and the outer diameter of the bullet connector it is attached to is 4.6mm.

Any idea what gauge the wire is?

The thickness of the insulation varies, so the best way to be sure is by the bullet plug size.

    4.3mm red ones accept copper wire 0.5mm² to 1.5mm² (22AWG to 16AWG).
    5mm blue ones take 1.5mm² to 2.5mm² (16AWG to 14AWG).

Cheers Gary, thought the insulation size might vary. Have ordered a box of taps with three different sizes, as it is just for a relay even a red would have plenty of capacity for the load.
