anyone know if anyone near Buckinghamshire that can wrap a seat cowl or maybe supply good quality wrap as might have a go at doing it myself.
Also any idea on what either would cost as haven’t a clue.
    Cheers

Same boat here! I have an original screen I’ve wanted to wrap in a light smoke film. Had both of them for a few weeks now but not been able to build up the required patience I will need to do it!

Have you considered opening a business to exploit your wrapping skills? People would pay good money for work like that ;)

I bought some wrap off ebay and did the underseat inserts on my RR9 in white.

Plenty of heat, patience and some extra sheets of wrap, unless you're lucky and get right first time! ;)

Seat cowl should be pretty easy to do though as it's not an awkward shape:)

Just plain white mate, but it’s a sp cowl so I’m imagining a pain?

I'm hoping you guys had seen my earlier post explaining the reason for my doing this.

It is not a permanent fixture but an exploitation of the pillion peg rule for MoTs. I recently MoTd the little aprilia and was aware from my Hondas that if a pillion seat is fitted, then a bike MUST have pillion pegs to obtain an MoT. Thus the carbon wrap was merely temporary to convert my pillion seat to an aprilia racing Corse aerodynamic cowl.

Job done and MoT successfully obtained.:)

Ah yeah it's got the raised hump on it hasn't it!

You not thought about a Chinese one ?
Can pick them up for about 20 quid on eBay and if it's white there's a chance it'll match!

I love the MOT rules at times , it's quite obviously a seat with a grab handle on it, but nope, stick some vinyl over the seat and hey presto, it vanishes Haha

I love the vagaries of laws at time, highlights how daft they are. Like you can't have a heavily tinted visor, but you can wear dark sunglasses behind a clear visor, and if you want you can have a dark tinted pinlock on a clear visor, or even the dark pinlock and dark sunglasses :D

I’ll just give it a go and see how it goes mate, I was told about a genuine one in white but I’d already bought this one.

Don't buy cheap wrap, it wrinkles and is crap to put on, spend a little bit more on 3M you won't regret it.
