Just a reminder to set the SKY boxes to record. WSBK kicks off this weekend at Phillip Island. The races this year will be split over two days. Coverage on Eurosport 1 starts at 0115 hrs on Sat 27 Feb. Can't wait!
Looks like the old Fireblade may be in with a podium shout as well... http://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/227936/1/second-fastest-van-der-mark-buoyed-by-race-run.html
Bearing in mind that this weekends racing is in Australia and, therefore on in the middle of the night, can I remind everyone to use a SPOILER ALERT if posting about the races ( or qualifying ).
MVDM did awesome on that blade. The boys at Ten Kate did an awesome job on the top end power on that blade. It was matching the ZX10R down the straights.
All the mags and lots of others say the Blade is past it, too slow, dated compared to all the new bikes, etc etc etc, it was the fastest through the speed traps at Philip Island and didn't look out of place compared to any of the new models.
Seems like Honda Europe have taken more of an active role this year. The team branding and team wear have more prominent Honda logos than previous years I know the Ten Kate team haven't got a main sponsor since Pata jumped ship to Yamaha. I did read somewhere that Ten Kate and Honda focused on engine power and electronics over the winter.
you d You dont want to confuse World superbikes with the ones we can buy mate, sadly they are worlds apart....
Yep, nothing wrong on the fast tracks, I hope they find a bit more midrange power for the stop and go tracks. I donate my PC 3
Excellent coverage and chit-chat, with Shaky Byrne and Leon Haslam, for the Aregon round. It was not so much fun watching the 1,200 cc Ducati pulling away from its 1,000 cc rivals though.
