Solution looking for a problem or a good idea?? http://www.alphr.com/cars/1009365/bosch-gas-thrusters-motorbikes-safety Imagine being one of the first test riders.
Quote "When your motorbike begins to slide and fall, Bosch will use pressurised gas thrusters to repulse you straight back up." So if this makes the bike stand up mid corner would you just not go off in to the scenery (or worse) anyway?
How can they determine whether the system made the slide or resulting accident worse? Could be a litigators dream if this thing ever came to fruition.
Didn't I note in one of the ABS threads that Bosch came up once or twice with suspect systems? I think the idea is over-ambitious and nothing we'll see in our riding lifetime. Well, mine at least.
I can understand the logic behind it but that gas will take your leg off at the pressure required to right a bike mid spill
So true - that's really thinking 'outside the square'. Alternatively, one could lay it down on their drive and use it as a leaf blower!!
