I will shortly be looking for a low mileage cheap one of these. Think thess were fitted from 2015 onwards. Someone is manufacturing an adapter that allows it to be fitted to my GSXS in place of the crap save a bit of money OEM model that Suzuki fit. I know this is a Honda forum and I am looking for a Yamaha part to fit to a Suzuki but you just never know with this place
Agree. @exuptoy will probably steer you in the right direction. He is all-knowing and on nearly every damn forum I have ever been a member of!
Have a nose for an MT10 rear shock. May be more suitable being a supernaked. Plenty of those for sale and on the 10 at least it’s not a bag of dicks. That said I’ve just bought a 300 mile old K Ktech DDS Lite.....and no my shock isn’t for sale. It doesn’t need one but it was available and the right price. Why not try a Gixer one, won’t it fit? ....and @nigelrb f’cough.
Haha. Here ya go. £90 and it has H&L speed compression damping along with rebound and preload adjustment. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-MT-10-2016-REAR-SHOCK-ABSORBER-SUSPENSION/302393774504?_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20160908105057&meid=2a649132595e48168b56a5eb428d144e&pid=100675&rk=1&rkt=15&sd=302393774504&itm=302393774504&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci:6d273df4-895e-11e9-87d3-74dbd18040ba|parentrq:3384232f16b0a9cbf0cfb59efff9272d|iid:1
You could even then convert it to hydraulic preload and make it really trick. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HYDRAULI...586968?hash=item5d8a337658:g:7TwAAOSwYnRctaz5
What’s wrong with this 2cr one £100 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-R...329894?hash=item443eea78e6:g:eYEAAOSwtcNc-SWr
It has to be the specific one as someone is manufacturing an adaptor to allow it to fit, otherwise I would need to get a specific gsxs one.
Aside from the 2cr/b67 prefixes, both items are numbered 222110 so it’s a fair assumption. https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5950520/mt10/rear-suspension
