    I did wonder :D

So yeah the new banjo bolt switch will go in place of that bolt as long as you can find one the right thread etc. Then cables from the new switch to be wired to the cables which came from the loom going to the original spring operated switch.

Whole thing will need bleeding afterwards :)

I have a Goodrich brake pressure switch on mine. Was c.£20. No oil came out when I undone the original banjo. It's plug and play iirc, had connector type clips so no soldering. Really tidied up the rear sets as gets rid of the springs. IMG_20200623_160646_415.jpg

Thanks @Mr_Chin_LK....... That's my next question........ Does brake fluid not piss out when you unscrew it??

Thanks for all the help guys, I'm useless with wires, I'm OK bolting stuff on and taking stuff off but when I see a wire my head falls off. It all stems from when I was a kid i tried to wire a plug and ended burning the socket out!!!

I've still not wired in my number plate light on the sp after i fitted the tail tidy

    Hi Paul

Nada, none, nothing, not a drip came out when I did mine, so I didn't even bleed it after.

I did unscrew it cautiously though.

    Hi Hitch

Yes, couple weeks back, got pulled over for going around a roundabout "too spritely", it's not a track he said to me. I was going around it knee down!

Old Bill said that if he sees it again like that I'll get a £100 fine. I said I'd only just changed it, and he said the 7 x 5 plate was okay, but he didn't like where it was placed. He wanted it under the rear brake light. I paid £300 notes for that undertray, so fuck that! I'm not moving it.

I got done for my mars bar last month - £100 fine, so changed it to the 7 x 5. Old Bill are just fining everyone due to a loss in income over the Covid-19 lockdown

Be careful....especially with it being private plate...
Di got a £100 for her 7x5 a few ago and he told her if he caught her again with it...it would be reported to dvla for permanent removal so she's got the billboard back on lol...

Thanks Lozzy, I knew about that bit too. Although the plate is mine it is still owned by the DVLA - All private plates are. If they do take it off you, you can just buy it back from a cherished number plate company though.

Careful with that private plate, if our Nigel sees it he won’t be happy you’ve not suffered any abuse for it :D

    Such a load of sh1te.
I bet their cameras are all ultra HD these days anyhow, so it makes feck all difference what size the plate is.

    Undertray looks sweet though

Dont think you can get points, most likely a fine; that said anything is possible, depends on plod, his mood and your attitude.
I'm always polite to the extent of being an arse kisser when dealing with police , I dont see the point in antagonising them further, we all know we are running with "illegal" (are they classed as illegal...or just not road legal?) items, just got to take the hit when it happens

Depends on the day and the plod that stops you. As it can easily go from ‘Stopped you because I wanted to have a word about that number plate’ to ‘and whilst we are here, I also notice that xxxx, xxxx and xxxx’ and those may carry points.

Agree, but still won't get any points for the small plate.

You cannot get points. It's non endorsable.
    It's currently £100 fine.

Also here in Kent, they issue you with a ticket where you have to take it to a MOT station to get a form stamped that you’ve changed it and it’s now legal, then you send that to the plod HQ within 14 days, Just can’t be ar*ed anymore, must be an age thing
