Hi all, I am currently riding a 2006 Fireblade. I had some issues with the forks and have found that although its a registered 2006 everything is 04-05. I want to do a service but I'm not sure if I should be ordering parts for 04-05 or 06 onwards.
Could some one possibly point me in the rite direction as to how i check what model should be ordering from.

    Many thanks

    Adam

Registration date is useless, especially as DVLA made up the rules, got them wrong and then changed them several times.
Short answer - if it's an 04-05 model, then that's what parts you will need to order.

Quickest way to differentiate between 04/05 and 06/07 is the fairings.

On 04/05 the main fairing is two parts with a visible horizontal join.

    This is an 04/05

Oh that must have been when Honda decided to make fairing removal a PITA instead of simple :D
