Oh you're definetely right Scoobs, (no offence taken at all) my Bike is well beyond my capabilities as it is, the NL instructor proves this with his 1:44 lap-times on an owd Blade! :(

The only thing that would gain me some speed is the newer ZX's TC which I badly need as a 'comfort Blanket' to let me gain better drive outa corners.
This is where I know I lose a lot of time for sure.

Matt is right about what's brought all this on though, I have a 15 month old Blade sat sulking in the garage due to lack of use so my reasoning was why not see what they'll offer me against a new ZX which will be far better than against a used one then just fit a rear number plate and brake light IF I ever have the need to go out on the roads.

Wouldn't re-fit any Raod Fairings or front lights etc as I never go out after dark unless socialising so no requirements to drive/ride.

Thought I may get £8K as a trade in on the Blade then would only have to find another 7K which I can do on the Kawasaki Zero % finance scheme on NEW BIKES, which again excludes looking at a used one Matt!

This is all without utilising what I may get for the old ZX which I'm sure would get Pissed away on trinkets for the new one knowing me.

Downside is I'd have only one Bike and if I mash it then that's a big chunk of cash that needs fixing again.

    ^^^^^

This is exactly why you shouldn't go down the new route IMO. Fear of smashing up your only bike will hold you back much more than a lack of traction control mate.

But then it depends on what you want from trackdays....

Tbh.... When I saw your bike it's almost too nice for track. I think you love it as much as your road bike (if not more) as a pride and joy..... Once I got my head round loving the blade on track for its performance and tool for going fast, my mindset changed and I enjoyed trackdays even more.

I don't want to smash it up, but it won't break my heart if I do. It just gets fixed and off you go again.

Now go run some mud on the old girl and ride it like you stole it lol....

Went to Hunts today to see if they could come up with a similar deal but they weren't interested, guess business is just that good for them...

Anyway i wonder if Robinsons would do the same to an older bike, a 2011 or something like that to make it cheaper?? The issue i have with this one besides it being 14 grand is the fact that i would be scared of crashing it, its just that nice and expensive... However if they did the same for a much cheaper 2011 model i would be interested....
