Hi all Had a 2012 Blade back in 2012 for a few years, took delivery of my second blade last month, great to be back on one.
Wow! What a surprise. I was expecting to see this: . . . and then to see that you've joined the SP club is a great return to the marque. Being similar to the 2012, you won't have much of a learning curve. Hope you get in some good days while they're here!!
Thanks guys, i am not worthy of such a machine and can never do it justice but it won’t stop me enjoying it, brilliant machine and mega comfy, I have clocked up over 240 miles in a day and still could have kept going, For a 54 year old carcass that’s something to celebrate
i am not worthy of such a machine and can never do it justice but it won’t stop me enjoying it, Dont worry about that probably 95% of litre bike owners cant use them to there full potential , as long as you enjoy it , stay to your own limits be safe thats the main thing . ENJOY
Likewise. I remember the black and chrome but not red. I entered the scene a couple of years later. You might have seen this: https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/my-cb-175-1970.36008/
Agree. I freely admit to being way beneath the potential to fully explore mine. But it's friggin' great fun trying!!
hi and welcome got a 2012 in black myself as my first litre bike this year, hope to get an sp1 early next year.
Evotech stuff is well designed, well made, fits well, has no tacky branding labels, and they actually answer their emails unlike R&G. So for me it is better materials and looks. Their kit doesn't feel flimsy like some R&G kit I have had in the past. I got their tail tidy for my bike and it felt better made than OEM and fitted in exactly, to the extent it looks like it nothing has been changed unless you knew what the original monstrosity looked like.
